ANSWER: The Faces In Places book!
It's this time of year that I like to pimp the official Faces in Places book as a perfect Christmas gift to EVERYONE you know. It features hundreds of the best photos that have been submitted to Faces In Places and it raises money for Hope For Children.

I don’t have a list of all international shops, but I know it’s available in Stockmann in Helsinki and Boghalen in Copenhagen. Just ask if your book shop doesn’t stock it and they’ll order it for you.

We’ve sold over 4,000 copies of the Faces in Places book so far, which has raised a hell of a lot of money for Hope For Children. We're now going into our second print run, which means there are plenty of crisp new books that are PERFECT for an xmas present. And it's less than a fiver on Amazon!

The official Faces in Places book is available in the following countries (names of the publishers in brackets, in case you run a book shop and want to stock it):
- UK: Buy now on Amazon and in Waterstones stores (and other good bookshops - published by GMC)
- USA: Amazon pre-order (Bookmasters, released Feb 1)
- Canada: Amazon pre-order (Bookmasters, released Feb 1)
- Australia (Capricorn Link), New Zealand (South Pacific Books), South Africa (Everybody’s Books): TBC, but soon.
- Brazil: Spring 2011.
- Rest of the World: TBC – I’ll update you when I know.

I'm not just saying that it's the best xmas present ever because I run the blog and compiled the book. Actually, that's EXACTLY why I'm saying it. But you should get it anyway, because it will be the best fiver you ever spend (or £6.99 if you get it in highstreet shops).
It's a perfect stocking filler for friends and family, old and young. Remember that 10% of every sale goes to Hope For Children too.

It’s the official Faces in Places book and it’s so awesome something HUGE behind it has just EXPLODED.
After months of sifting through thousands of photos, careful planning and bad pun writing, the book is finally finished. It’s crammed with more than 250 faces, taken by almost a hundred different photographers from the Faces in Places community. It features the best faces that have ever appeared on the blog, plus loads of new photos you’ll not have seen before.
PRE-ORDER THE BOOK ON AMAZON NOW!
It’s not even out yet, but Amazon have already knocked 25% off the cover price (damn them), so grab yourself a bargain before the price goes up again. Remember that royalties from the book (10% of the cover price) goes towards the kids charity Hope For Children, which pretty much means you HAVE to buy it.
It’s been an amazing team effort, so thanks for everyone who has sent in photos.

Quick update on the book: It's almost complete, with just a few photographers yet to return release forms for their photos. If this is you, FOR THE LOVE OF GOUDA PLEASE RETURN THE FORM NOW!
If you have a really super awesome image and can send it to me before the end of May, then I may still be able to fit it in, but send it soon. Look here for info on how to send it.

Last call for photos for the book

This is the final, final call for photos for the book. I've actually been sent enough photos to fill 10 books (massive thanks everyone), and I'm now in the difficult stages of whittling the images down to the very best. There's still time to send photos in - but no later than this Friday, May 7th. After Friday, I plan to go insane in a sea of faces as I make the final selections.
