Pre-order the official Faces in Places now

UPDATE 17/12/10: CLICK FOR NEWS ON INTERNATIONAL RELEASE DATES

It’s the official Faces in Places book and it’s so awesome something HUGE behind it has just EXPLODED.

After months of sifting through thousands of photos, careful planning and bad pun writing, the book is finally finished. It’s crammed with more than 250 faces, taken by almost a hundred different photographers from the Faces in Places community. It features the best faces that have ever appeared on the blog, plus loads of new photos you’ll not have seen before.

PRE-ORDER THE BOOK ON AMAZON NOW!

It’s not even out yet, but Amazon have already knocked 25% off the cover price (damn them), so grab yourself a bargain before the price goes up again. Remember that royalties from the book (10% of the cover price) goes towards the kids charity Hope For Children, which pretty much means you HAVE to buy it.

It’s been an amazing team effort, so thanks for everyone who has sent in photos.

The official Faces in Places book launches on 7th October, 2010. RRP is a bargain at £6.99.

This is pretty effing awesome. I've read this blog for years - get it on my RSS, so it's great that it's now gonna be in the shops.

That link is to the UK shop though - how do I order from the states?

Hi Suzie89

I'll find out how people like yourself can pre-order if you're outside the UK. I'll post an update soon. Cheers

Jody

I preordered my book! Yay! I'm glad I have my UK Amazon account. Yes, weird about books being discounted before publication. Happened with my son's books. His new one isn't out until 15 Dec. His first one was based on his blog, too. How fun is this?

Well done - this is going to be such a bit hit for Christmas presents. I'll certainly be buying it for at least two friends (and reading it before I give it away)!!

What about copy rights? Did you ask all photografers permission? Just wondering... great book.

@loeka - Yes, every contributing photographer agreed to be in the book. All 95 of them. It was one hell of a job.
